Hello,
Let me start out with - I Love Fall. I love the colors, smells, pumpkins, decorations, events and the start of fall programming here at Trinity Church.
What are some of the exciting events and activities that Adult Programing will be offering and helping with this fall?
- Sally Cupery will be leading a new study on Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings by Max Lucado - You Are Never Alone. He is one of my favorite authors and this study helps us to realize God is nearer than you know and that we are stronger than we think.
- Nikki Nelson will be back on Thursdays for Cozy Crafters and has lots of new ideas.
- We are excited about being active with some of the fall activities that the Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting, including Casket Races and The Scarecrow Walk. We are waiting for final details from the Beaver Dam Auxiliary for a special Trick or Treat event as well.
- New this fall, Trinity will host will a Harvest Moon Celebration at Lakeview Park on Sunday night October 9. There will be activities for everyone.

Conflict has always been part of our lives, but these days, disagreements seem ramped up, don’t they? Whatever the discord may be over, it feels as if we’re constantly having to choose sides. In Common Ground, a study for women, author Amberly Neese shows us that the Scriptures hold the key to living at peace despite our differences. She combines stories of sibling rivalries from the Bible with personal experience, humor, hope, and her love of God’s Word to illustrate how we can have peace and reconciliation in all of our relationships—all while reassuring us that it’s possible to find common ground with everyone–despite our differences. **We will view a video each week and then share thoughts and ideas. He will be presenting on the basics of dementia. We will look at what to expect as we age, what could be a sign of dementia or something else, and what we can do to decrease our risk of dementia. Please feel free to bring your lunch along.

Harvest Moon Celebration
Sunday, October 9 beginning at 5pm
Everyone's invited as we share dinner, fall desserts, pumpkin decorating, games, movie, hanging out with friends, fun for all ages. More information and volunteer opportunities will be coming soon. For now, invite your friends and family and we'll see you on October 9th!
Join the Adult Ministry for lunch at an area restaurant on the fourth Tuesday of each month and sometimes other dates for special events. Everyone pays their own way, so order whatever you'd like! We go to a wide variety of restaurants, so if you have a favorite, just let Deb know!

In addition to our personal crafts, we also take time to work together on projects that benefit those in need in our community and beyond. We are planning to offer instructions on new craft projects each month like ribbon angels, giving plates, and new ways to use the looms to make baby blankets. See you there!

Scarecrow Building

Do you want to build a Scarecrow? Please join us to create two Scarecrows. The Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting Scarecrows on Parade, from October 14-31. One of our scarecrows will be featured downtown and the other one in front of church.
Donations and ideas needed, please: We need 2 pair of jeans, 2 plaid or flannel shirts, old work gloves, a couple of crazy straw hats, bandanas, and boots. If you have any of these items please drop off prior to the event.
We also need quart mason jars (lids not needed)
